Join Alex Crofoot in this two hour class on herbal first aid. We will cover the foundations of herbal first aid such as clinical considerations, safety, how to set up a station, different types of wounds, and more. We will also explore herbs used for certain common conditions you may encounter, and how to build your own mobile first aid kit.
Alex has been working in rural first aid situations for over 8 years, setting up first aid stations and treating conditions. This class is suited for all beginners and intermediate learners.

This class was filled with an abundance of useful information for various situations where herbal first aid knowledge is extremely useful. I filled up multiple pages in a notebook and really felt I was learning and absorbing the information and not just hearing it. From emotional distress aid to wound care aid, bite aid, rash aid, gastrointestinal aid, and even preventatives for infection, this class was stacked with information! We had laughs and shared stories and the slideshow presentation went very well with the teachings. I respect Alex so much and love what she brings to the community of Ypsilanti, MI! If you are near, check out her shop and for sure ask about her upcoming sliding scale $ classes. I hope to visit MI and return to a class sometime in the future for sure! - Mary H.
