Community Drop In Herbal Clinic

The Community Care Clinic at Bloodroot Apothecary is a donation based herbal clinic offering accessible, holistic support for both acute and chronic health concerns. Rooted in clinical herbalism and community care, this space is designed to meet you where you are—without barriers to access.

We offer support for a wide range of concerns, including colds and flu, urinary tract infections (UTIs), digestive issues, hormonal imbalances, menstrual and menopause support, chronic vaginal infections, skin infections, first aid, nervous system dysregulation, anxiety, and burnout. We also provide gentle, informed support for pregnancy, postpartum, breast/ chest feeding, and infant and child wellness.

Our approach blends traditional plant medicine with modern awareness and scientific evidence based research. As clinical herbalists, we work alongside your existing care—whether that includes pharmaceuticals, lab testing, or other practitioners. We do not diagnose or treat disease, but instead offer education, herbal support, and guidance to help you better understand and care for your body.

The Community Care Clinic includes both drop-in and scheduled sessions, making it easier to receive support when you need it most. Whether you’re navigating an acute issue or a long-term imbalance, this clinic offers a grounded, compassionate space to explore herbal care.

Bloodroot Apothecary is committed to radical accessibility. Through sliding-scale pricing, mutual aid, and community-supported care, we aim to make herbal medicine available to underserved and marginalized communities, including LGBTQAI individuals, parents, immigrants,  and those experiencing financial hardship. We have a Spanish translator that can come as well just let us know!

This is more than a clinic—it is a return to community-based care, where care is shared, supported, and deeply rooted in the relationship between people and plants.
