Medic Training: Trauma Wound Care | FREE February 28th @ noon

Medic Training: Trauma Wound Care | FREE February 28th @ noon

Blown away and happy to have Special operations medic, James Wiley come to the shop and teach our community life saving skills. James was trained in the army at the John F. Kennedy special warfare and combat school.

James went on and did many tours in the Middle East as a Senior Medic during combat.

More recently he went to Ukraine to teach civilians M.A.R.C.H.

In this free skill share we will learn how to prioritize life-saving care and

understand the order of treatment in a trauma situation to treat yourself or others.

 M.A.R.C.H.

● Massive Hemorrhage—identify and manage life threatening bleeding

● Airway—clear and open airway

● Respiration—identify and treat chest wound

● Circulation—manage shock

● Hypothermia—conserve heat

He will also provide information on creating a makeshift tourniquet with available resources. One doesn’t need the fancy gear if they have the knowledge.

See you at this amazing free event, donations are appreciated to keep the shop lights on while we continue to provide our community with free care and events.

Who takes care of one another? WE DO
